Personal profile
| GU Dian is from Sichuan Province, China. He has achieved the Master’s degree at faculty of Sculpture in China Academy of ART in 2021. Now he works as an artist, the director of Uniislands and a lecturer at Faculty of Art and Design in Xihua University. In 2020, he went to École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris for exchange study. He participated in the workshop of watercolor printmaking held in the University of Hong Kong, CDK Monumental Heritage program and Artist Residence program in Westlake University, Artist Residence program A4 ARIE Center, contemporary art exchange exhibition in Jeonju, South Korea. GU mainly focuses on study of sculpture and public landscape, also takes interest in animation and transcultural comparative study of ancient art. He works on creating and teaching of multimedia art and visual culture. As a lecturer he won The first prize in individual all-around of Sichuan Province Basic Skills Competition for Art Education in Colleges and Universities |
